welcome! [15 Oct 2009|03:22pm]

short and sweet is best to read so we'll spare you all the unnecessary details and keep this to a bare minimum: there are three things you'll need to know prior to joining this community, two options of how to become a part of it and one thing you'll need to do to seal the deal and make it work so pay close attention and we'll walk you through each step by step.

3 things you need to know: this community will be set in seattle, washington and will obviously be a city community. your character can be originally from seattle and still living in the area or could've moved recently: we don't care how you work it in, just that you do and that your character is now based there. you'll be asked to update once every three weeks with whatever it is you see fit. a one liner, a youtube, a macro, a paragraph ... the choice is yours. all we ask is that you remain extremely active in the sub communities by posting at least once a week and to see you on aim regularly in the meanwhile. in character format will be required for usernames as will it be for screen names simply to avoid confusion.

2 options of how to join: it'd be unfair of us to restrict you to only one specific thing you could do to get into the community therefore, we're providing two. your first option is to provide us with examples. -- one aim or threading example and one journal example will suffice. the second is to fill out a survey of your choice. in this case, you may be asked for examples as well all based upon how much detail you put into the survey you choose. one other point to keep in mind is the rule of challenges: it's simple and straight forward and states that if you are challenging or being challenged, you must provide both examples and a survey or double the examples (two aim or threading, two journals).

1 thing to seal the deal: apply.

so there you have it: the basics of what we're looking for, what you need to do and how you can make sure this place gets on it's feet. to assist you in achieving this, we've provided some links below to some possible surveys, information about seattle and it's surroundings and a list of local highschools and colleges your character might want to attend.
